Saturday, September 17th, was Constitution Day! September 17th, 1787 marks the last meeting of the Continental Congress before the signing of the Constitution into law. The Constitution is one of the key founding documents of our nation, detailing the duties of the three branches of government, the Bill of Rights, and its subsequent amendments. The ability of the Constitution to require only 27 Amendments since the document was signed 224 years ago highlights the resilience of the document and the incredible foresight of the Founding Fathers and the delegates to the Continental Congress.
